Heart Stop Beating/Flatline

Title design for the short documentary HEART STOP BEATING, which was later recut into FLATLINE, directed by Jeremiah Zagar of Union HZ for Focus Forward Films/GE.

HEART STOP BEATING was commissioned by Focus Forward Films for GE. It premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The film tells the story of two visionary doctors from the Texas Heart Institute who successfully replaced a dying man’s heart with a rotor-driven device of their own design—proving that life is possible without a pulse or a heartbeat.
