Red Hook Crit

Logos, Posters, Print, and Website design for the Red Hook Crit, the world’s premier track bike criterium/unsanctioned race.

In 2010 Race Director David Trimble approached me to create a poster for his small race, the Red Hook Crit. What began as a few friends racing in front of about 30 spectators at night in Brooklyn has grown into one of the world’s largest unsanctioned cycling events attracting hundreds of competitors and thousands of spectators in Brooklyn, NY and Milano, Italy. The races have been covered by publications like the New York Times, The New York Post, the Daily, Bicycling Magazine, Velo News and countless websites. The race has become known for its limited-edition collaborations with many of the top cycling brands, exciting atmosphere and it’s clean, classic look.
